Tho following resolution wiw carried unanimously:—'That this mooting resolve itself inlo a deputation to wait upon the-Mayor and councillors of Knrori to urge that the borough enters into negotiations with tho City Council with a view to amalgamation." Kirkcaldio and Mr. Oanghloy were appointed to 6pcak on behalf of Tuesday's deputation.
