Stnck'ey (D'annevirke) presided'. ; The annual report slated that owing to i the war only six new Mocks were added i to the stud book. Members also had failed Jo remember that all ewes sold must be in- ' speoted before their transfer could be rei gistered. The association by arrangc- ; ment with the bank had been enabled to i invest amounts on.fixed deposit in the War Loan, enabling it to do its little bit I towards financing the- war.
Officers were elected as follow:—Presi- ' dent, Mr. S. K. Lancaster (re-elected); I vice-president, -Mr. H. B. Stuckey (rei elected); auditor, Mr. P; L. Sim. /i'lie | council was re-elected. . ; The gold medal for the championship i Southdown ram was awarded to Master- , ton. i Championships for best two-tooth Southdown rams were awarded to Manawatu. '■. Feilding, Wanganni, VTairarapa, and I Dannevirke. | The Border Leicester championship was awarded to Hawke's B.iv. and the Eng- ; lish Leicester to Auckland.' ' . .The Shronshire championship .was ! awarded to Marton. : It was decided to increase the value of ; the championship Southdown ram from £1 2s. to £a ss. \ The following new members were elect- ; ed:—Thomas Bnshby (Taihane), Colin j ' M'Laren (Stratford).
