ATOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that - i-i imrsuant to the. powers vested in 5 it by "Tho Counties Act, 1(103," mid 3 "The Public Health Amendment Act, Hill)," oiul by every mid any other Act enabling- it in that behalf, the Council of this County of Makara hereby makes by SI'ECIAL ORDER an AMENDMENT .of Chapter ill, Section ;), Clause (u) and (b), of tho BY-LAWS of the Council made and passed ttie tenth day of June, 1010, and dotli order as follows:— 3 (a) Every person who shall hereafter creel within tne County a building intended for residential purposes shall (subject u.s in this .sub-section afterwards provided) erect the same upon a parcel of land intended to be occupied together with the buildf iug, as a separate holding, which parcel of land shall have an area of at least 40 perches, and it frontage j of at teast 10 feet to some public j street or to some road or street shown on a deposited plan or to some right-of-way laid out by permission of tho Council or already existing or created > at the date of the coming into opera- > lion of these by-laws. And such per- > sou shall not 'erect such building upon any parcel of land not coming within Hie aforesaid description without permission of the Council, which permission shall be evidenced by writing under the hand of the Clerk of the Coiriicil and may bo r given subject to such terms and conditions ns the Council shall think fit, and the Council may if it deems proper take any bond or other security for tho duo performance of any such terms or conditions, (b) No person shall erect a building or .structure or subdivide any. laud so as in either case to leave the land occupied or inbended to bo occupied with any building hereafter erected within the County for residential purposes without tho aforesaid frontage and area. AND NOTICE IS HEEEBY GIVEN that pursuant io "The Counties Act, J9OS," a NEW SECTION is added to Chapter IV of the aforesaid BY-LAWS of tire Council to read as follows:— No person shall own, occupy, or ibe conconicd in the ownership or occupation of any boat shed or bathing shed erected upon any reserve under the control of the Council, unless such boat shed or bathing shed shall bo duly .licensed under this fly-law. Every License issued in connection with such boat shed or bathing shed shall remain in force until tho thirtyfirst day of December next ensuing tho date thereof. Such License shall be issued in accordance with ibe forms "El" and "F2" hereto attached and shall be issued by the County Clerk upon the . authority, and approval of the County Council to such . person or persons as the Council may think lit-upon tho. payment of five shillings. Every license issued tinder this By-law shall be renewed on or before the 31st day of. March in each year and like fcos shall bo payable on renewal as upon the original issue of the License. A. receipt from the County Treasurer for the fee payable for the Renewal of the License shall be evidence of the renewal of such License for the then current ". year.. .:... '■•.-■■ Everv person, desiring to erect a boat shed or bathing shed shall prior, to the commencement -of such work moko application_ to tho Council in writing for permission to carry out such work, And submit with the application plans of the proposed work and specification of the material ; to . be used in carrying out such work. Tho plans, specification and application shall be submitted to the Council, and if in its opinion the proposed work is in accordance with this Bylaw and other By-laws of the Council, and upon payment of the. fee as set out in Schedule D of the By-laws, a- permit shall "be granted. Boat sheds and bathing sheds shall bo erected only on such site as may be allotted by the Council, and application for sites shall be considered by the Council in the order in which tiiev are received anil allotted accordingly. No person shall use improper, indecent, foul, or abusive language,'or permit any disorderly conduct, or any practices calculated to annoy or oli'end the public in or about any boat shed or bathing shed.
