Senator Pearce has announced that a change lias been made in tho command of the Australian Forces on the West front, owing to General Sir William Birdwooil having 'received temporary command of an army.—Press Aesn. REAR-ADMIRAL HALSEY CHANGES AT THE ADMIRALTY. ; (Rec. June 19, 11.10 p.m.) London, June 18. Captain Bartholomew will replace Rear-Admiral Lionol Halsey as Third ' Sea Lord at the Admiralty.
