FURTHER ACTION TAKEN. On the application of Mr. H. P O'Leary, His Honour Mr. Justice Hoskinc has granted a rule nisi calling upon Mr S. E. M'Carthy,, S.M., and Constable William Tricklebank to show cause why they should not be prohibited from further proceeding on the conviction of Winifred Olsen; also why tho said William Tricklebank should not pay tho costs of these proceedings. Argument on tho matter is to be heard in the bupreme Court on Tuesday, Juno 25, or as soon thereafter as possible. The ground for tho application was that Winifred Olsen was convicted on a charge on which she had never been asked to plead.
