FINDING OF CORONER'S INQUIRY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Oamaru, Juno 18. The Coroner's inquiry into tlic death if George Swan Burke, who was mur'dc eil at UcinmaH's Crossing (near Oamaru) on the evening of April 14, was held this I afternoon before Mr. J. R, Bartholomew, I S.M., -District Coroner. After lengthy evidence had been submitted Iby the police, the Coroner recorded the following verdict; —"That George Swan Burke was murdered by Onslow Mavhew by means of a bullet discharged from a rifle at Geramell's Crossing on April 14. 1918."
