From the bully-off University carried play, and tor a few minutes had Ramblers on tho defence. From n free Ji it Rninbleis rushed play into University quarters, and Miss S. Simon put tno linisiTtng touch by finding the net. Ramblers, keeping up (he attack, had several shots at goal, but the fine defence of (lie University goalkeeper saved. At length, however, from a corner hit, Miss' Lang got one past, and just before, halftime Miss Pickering scorc.il the third goal for Ramblers. In the second spell Itnmtflers had all the best of the. play, their passing and placing being far and away the best seen this season. Goals were- scored by Misses Wilkins (3), Pickering (2), and Lang. Ramblers won by !) goals to nil. Mr. Jones was referee.

In the first spell College iad all the better of the play scoring two goals to nil. Misses Bedell and Bowie being the 6Corers. In the second spell Pay Department turned the tables on their opponents, and showed to great advantage in passing rushes. Misses Thompson and k'eanneley scored goals and the game ended in a draw. Mr. A. G. Whcatley had charge of the game. BASE U.KCORDS.Y. HUAHATI. This proved a most interesting and exciting game, play travelling from end lend every lew minutes. At the call oi time neither side had scored, the game resulting in a dianv'Mr. F. Spiers carried the whistle. JUNIORS. Te Aro Srhuol v. Wellington Girls' College.—in the first spell play was even neither side scoring. In the second spell Te Aro, in the early stages, had all the better of the play, scoring two goals, both scored by Miss M'Kinnon. ,Just 1>: fore the call of time -\lis3 Adams scored for College. Te Aro won by i goals to i Mr. 11. Biini was referee. Y.W.C.A. won by default over Pay Department. MEN'S COMPETITIONS. The men's competitions advanced another stage on Saturday. Trentham A, by their win, take the leading position with 8 points, while the B team, with 7 points, Jill second place. TJiEMTiIAM A v. Y.M.C.A. B. Trentlianrall through had tile belter of a well-l'ought game. The play at times was very interesting, both sides showing great improvement in their play. If anything, Trentham hail the best combination, their forwards passing with good judgment, while the dofenOu of tho backs was good. Y.JI.C.A. loat several chances to score by over-running the ball and too hard hitting when near the circle. Scores were mada by Ilarinan (2), M.orton (I) for Trentham, and Tandy (1) lor Y.M.C.A. Trentham won by 3 goals to J. Mr. i\ Spiers was referee. TRENTHAM 13 V. ICAJiOIiI. Trentham, from tha "bully-oft'," rushed play into Karori's quarters, and for a time had them defending. Off-side play spoiled their chance of scoring. For a lime Karori forced them back, but at length i'loru a free-hit Trentham carried the ball into the circle, and Champuoss scored. Trenthaiu still kept the upper hand, and Sinclair added another goal. In tho second spell, the play was of an even nature, Karori if anything having the better of it. About half-way through the spell. Head scored for ICnrori. At tho call of time, Trentham was leading by 2 goals to 1. .Mr. A. C. Wheat ley had charge of the game.
RIiATHERSTON V. Y.M.C.A. A. Featherstou proved too good for j Y..M..C.A., defeating them'by 5 goals to 2. In the first spell Featherston scored three goals the soorers being Shepherd, Wiggins, while Bascand scored for Y.AI.C.A. ]11 the second spell Salelc i and AViggins stored for Feather.stori. and Hogan for 01.C.A. Mr. E. J. Llovd was referee.
JUMBLKRS V. BASK RECORDS. Ifamlilers had all the best of (ho game with .Base Records, defeating them by five goals to nil. 'fate and Smith scored in the first spell, while Tate (2) and Kueh (1) were die scorers in the second spell. Air. A. Edwards carried the whistle. PAY . DEPA-RTVIOT Y. Y.M.C.A. C.
