Ark weight, at Overton. The cows were a nice Jot and sold from £10 to £21, averaging in the vicinity of £14. The heifers wero not so keenly in demand, but all were sold at prices ranging from £6 10s. 10 £12 10s.; weaner heifers made £4 35.; empty ewes, 19s. 6d.;* fat ewes, 275. 10d.; breeding soWB,/£2 ss. to £6.'

I>he bidding throughout forboth sheep and cattle was somewhat dragging, hut we managed to unit practically all lots at reduced prices. The New Zealand Loan aud Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report having held a highly successful clearing sale of dairy cows, etc., on behalf of the executors in the estate of the late i\ Koband, at Nireaha, on Friday. A large attendance of buyers were present, mid' bidding was animated throughout the sale. The dairy cows made from £11 to £17 10s., the whole herd averaging .£l4 4s.
