11051K LINKS CORONATION MEDAL, MATCH. The annual match l'w the Coronation Medal was played during the last week of May. This year, according to the returns to hand, fifteen clubs competed, but of those threo considered two cards handed in not good enough to send on. Tho medal was held last year by Miss Helinore, of Cli rislchurcli. An interesting personage in the world of music is Fritz Kreissier, the famous Austrian violin virtuoso, as to whom conllicting reports were current a year or two ago, that he had met with serious injury to his bow-arm while serving in one of (he campaigns on the Auslroiiussian frontier. Dame Melba brings the news that Kreissier is now in America. and that his bow-arm remains as ellicient as ever, his war injury being a serious disablement of one of his legs, lie is at present one of the most enthusiastic workers in the country in tho interests of the Hed Cross movement, having given up all professional engagements (o perform in the cause of mercy and charity.
