DISTRICT REPORTS. (Prom Our Own Correspondents.) Greytown, Juno 15,-Fine. Featherston, June 35.—Threatening conditions; rain during hicht.

At a meeting of tho Wairarapa Automomlo Association, held at Eeathorston. arrangements were made for tendering a social and presentation to' Mr. T. E. Maunsell, who was chairman of the Mutual Insurance directors and a vicepresident of tho asvsociation, prior to his departure for Nelson. Two Church Army huts from New Zealand were placed in the New Zealand lines last November, and were then ministering to thousands of our soldiers daily as they went to and from tho trenches. Since then twelvo more have been added from New Zealand to tho hundreds the Church Army at Home had on all battlefronts since the outbreak of war. These huts aro each named aftei the patriotic society or district that gave them—tho Waipukurau, Wellington Takiipnu, Napier No. 1 and No. 2, Maori, Wanganui, Hawera, Ormondville, Hastings, Havelock, Olive, Knox Naval, Rotarua, Dannevirke, Weber, Otane, l'ukcliou, Elsthorpe, and kitchen car, Anon. Tho sum of ,£IO3O (is. 'Id.- has been sub. scribed by friends of the Church Army for these huts, which are, as far as possible, for tho use of New Zealand soldiers, but as troops are continuall) moving, all "soldiers of tho King" are helped by them to rest and recreation. Four other huts aro partly subscribed for, the Church Army having lost 57 during tho German advance.
