.Mrs. Grant's band of performers gave a bright concert to the audience at the Sailors , Erie/nd Society on Thursday evening. With music, story, song, and competitions the hours slipped merrily past, aided by the following: Mrs, Grant, Miss Wohtenholm, and Messrs. Oakby, Pankhurst, Grant, and B. Jones. Some remarkable conjuring tricks were performed by Mr. Oakby. \tes-rs. Oakby nnd I\inkhur4 were at the piano. Prizes wo.re. donated by frie.iuU of the. work. Mr. Moore. inis<iuner. thanked the performers and Mrs. I!rant lor the bright ciiivrUiiiiinent.
