The following recoinineudatjons of the Finance Committee were adopted i—That tho property owners of Austin Terrace iwUo have petitioned for improvements to the terrace, be informed that it is reKretted that their I'wjuest cannot be acceded to. That liability be depiecj for damage alleged to have been caused to property in Maida Vale Road, That an extension of the public eewer in l"irongi Upud, Ilast Kijbirnie, to eorve a conaderable number of properties be authorised, at an estimated, cost of 4120, «* reooaiuiended. That, the petitioner,? for an ex-tension-of tbo sewerage- system in Miraniar (A'Rscent be informed tW a cdqsiderable extension of tho system would be required to drain thou' properties, and with tho amount of work already authorised and requiring attention, it will be some months before, this extension can be undertaken.
