STATEMENT By BRITISH FOREIGN MINISTER, London, Jane 12. Mr. A. J. Balfour, at a luncheon in honour of tho Japanese Mission, said that Britain and Japan had no differences of opinion as to tho aim of the present war. He was suro that if tho exigencies of the conflict required us to call upon our Aides to mako now and fresh efforts Japan would live, as she had always done, up to her full obligations. (Cheers.) Mr. Bnlfour went on to criticise German trading methods, and pointed out these wero part of her policy for world domination. Germany was trying by her manufacturing power to practically ensiavo all the rest of the world.
