TOTAL TO DATE. During May, 43 returned officers were gazetted out, 1227 u.c.o.'s and men were discharged, and 75 (all ranks) returned to duty. The total number of returned eoldiers (including officers) at May 31 was 21,262, comprising 19,556 of tho Main Body and reinforcements, and 170G Samoan.
