Wallace's Auchenbaihzie hard, .31 head f -averaged «£lO4 lis. 7d. at. the end of March. The top figure was 240 guineas, : paid for Auchenbainuie Mist, the_ same j purchaser giving 215 guineas' for' Nappy. ; The (well-know|u breeder, Mr. A. W. Montgomery, of Lessnessock, gave 210 i guineas' for Flora, and 205 guineas for ttty. Another promiuent breeder, ilr. <T. Howie', ot Hillhoußo, gave 210 guineas i «' for Daisy Bell 2nd.
