SUBURBAN METHODISM
The new departure in regard to Methodism in Ihu eastern suburbs is now fairly launched, the Rev. F. T. Betid, 0.F., having taken over tho charge of tho newly-establfehed Kilbirnie circuit, which embraces the churches sit Hntaitai, Mavanui, and Worser Bay. On Saturday evening ll>« first official meeting of office-hearers was held in live Worser Buy Church, there being a representative attendance-, presided over by the Rev. T. F. Arrangements were made for the forthcoming visit of the Rev. J. AV. Burton, this vear's foreign mission deputation to the circuit. Mr. Fathers tendered the welcome of the meeting to tho chiiirtnan, who briefly responded, outlining tho work ho hoped to do.
