By Tolograph—Press Association Christchurch, June 7. • A few lines of milling wheat and a duantity of fowl wheat have; been offor--ing .during the week. Tho local millers having filled their they are unable at present to purchase any more milling wheat. Tliey are Ming offered whole fowl wheat by brokers, but they are not inclined to purchase this at the maximum rato. Oats are firmer, feed Algerians being worth is. to Is. 3d., and feed Gartons is. 3d. to 4s. :4d. at country stations. There bein? no shipping spaco available for chaff, there is practically no business doing iu this line. There is better inquiry > for potatoes, firms that have been holding off lately are now operating again, and paying ,£o to ,£5 ss. at country stations, most of the business being done at the latter figure. A fair quantity was shipped north this week.
