Competition was not keen, but wo disposed.of the bulk of the yarding at late rates. Small lambs, 10s. fd.: woolly b.f. lambs, 15s. id.i: fat lambs, 19s. 6d.; aged ewes, 10s. 6il.'; fair emnty ewes, 175.;" store cows, £5 10s. to £6; forward cows, £7 6s. to £7 165,; fat cows, £9 7s. to £10; heifers, r.w.b., .€6 12s. 6d.: good springing heifers, £12 155.; mixed weaners, £2 16s. Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co.. Ltd., report having held a clearing sale at Waingawa on Thursday oil account of Mr. W. R. Kemball, There was a cood .attendance, and a clearance was made at the following prices:—Two and four-tooth ewes in lamb, 255.; empty forward ewes, 235. 4d.; cull two-tooth wethers, 225. 6d.; wntlior hogpets, 20s. £d.: heifers in calf, £B 55.; m.s. weaners, 375.; half-draught fillies, £14 10s.; aged mare, £9.
