The Rev. Howard Elliott gave an address before a large audience in the Municipal Hall, Masterton, on Thursday evening (telegraphs our correspondent). He particularly appealed to Labour to support the Protestant Political Association. An interesting animal is the flying frog of Borneo. Its long toes are webred to the tips, and thus act as little parachutes, enabling the fr;g to leap frr-in lofty trees and descenl to the ground gradually.
