Considerable discussion took placn at a recent meeting of tho Levin Domain Board on tho subject: of tho siiiW-riplion fee to t.ho board's new golf links. He reminded members that tho initial outlay for clubs, balls, etc., was fairly heavy, and a small fee would induce players. Other members were .inclined to think differently, and many expressed their opinion against a small fee being charged. Eventually it was decided to n)ako the fee 255. for gentlemen and 12s. fid. for ladies. .. An addition to tho fire-fighting appliances of the Levin Fire Brigade is about to be purchased in the shape of a new lack-valvo hydrant, at a cost of ,Elslos.
