ORDER OF DRUIDS

The usual monthly meeting of tho lioyal Aroh Chapter, U.A.0.J)., was held in the Wellington -Town Hall on Wednesday night, Ii.A.D. Bit). T. A. Tullott presiding There was a good attendance of members.

Ono member of the Older was admitted to the. first degree ,of the chapter. The judges, Bros. F. K. Potter, W. J: Pope, and A. E. Smith, appointed in connection with tho recent ritual contest, reported- that the Island Bay Lodac was the successful competitor. A heanjy vote , ■of thanks .was accorded to the judges for their work, which had taken up a lot of their lime.

Arrangements for the photographs of past aiid» present officers of the chapter were left in the hands of Bro. Mollison to complete.

Bro. Mullins read the report of the coinmitfeo appointed to go into the juvenile lodge question, which met with the unanimous approval of tl\o members. Bnos. Clayton, Mullin?, Mollinson, Rubenstein, Snrjeant, and others strongly 'supported the proposal. It was unanimously decided Hint (he time is now ripe for the establishment of juvenile lodges in connection with the Grand •Lodge of the North Island, and in order to give Wellington the opportunity of setting the ball rolling, all the city and suburban lodges are to be invited to sond two delegate., each >to meet the Chapter Committee, with a view of drawing up rules and arranging the scale of contributions and benefits, 1 which will be submitted to the Eegislrar for approval. D.P. Bro. W. 11. GroHM gave notice to move at next meeting (hat the ritual competitions in future be held in April and October, instead of May and November, in order to avoid clashing with, the quarter nights in tho various lodges. Bro. Unbenstein gave notice that he will at next meeting introduce a scheme for the relief of contributions of' aged members.
