Eglin (vice-president of Ihe Wollinirlon Y.M.C.A.), who is proceeding abroad as a field secretary. Short speeches were mado by Messrs. C. M. Ljiko (president), 11. S. Hart, R. Johnson, F. F. Laureneon, and A. f). Smitli (acting-general secretary). All spoke of tiho splendid services rendered to the Y.M.C.A. by Mr. Eglin, who is one of the "Wellington association's founders, arid, on behalf of the board and National Committee, Mr. C. S. Falconer (first vice-president) handed Mr. Eprlin a suitably-inscribed wristletwatch.
