At a meeting of the Wairarapa Patriotic Association it was decided to grant tho sum of J65000 towards the erection ot a convalescent ward at Masterton Hospi- ' tal for returned soldiers. Tho association refused the application of the Catholic Federation for a grant towards an iristituto at Featherston Camp, as a resolution was on the books refusing similar requests.
