"OOMB INSIDE." Tito Grand Opera Ilouto was filled with a delighted audience last evening, wl'.en The Strollers again produced "Come Inside." Mr. Syjlney James amply satisfied everybody that ho is a whole entertainment in himself, and he kept the house inrollicking roars of mirth. His rendering of "In t-lio Heart of a City, Without a Heart" was simply immense, but .in all his other humorous items he was equally successful. Jlits Madeline Koasiter was again seen to great advantage in her dancing, and her spirited singing was 1 popularly aporoyed. The Pyjaina Girls also helped to make the show merry and bright, while Mr. G. W. Desmond's drollery caused much amusement. Jlis dancing was also of a high standard. Miss. Josio Jackson contributed several sweet songß. Misb Ira liißsett made a decided hit with "Joan of Arc," in which she appeared as a lied Cross uurso. The programme will be repeated to-night. No fewer than four people claim to have murdered the one man in "The Blind Adventure." now screening at the Empress Theatre. EdwaJd Earle and Betty Howe fill tho leading roles, and. their acting is very good throughout. A Triangle comedy, "Aired in Court," causes much merriment. " .SUNDAY CONCERT. ; The Wellington Professional Orchestra Will give its third concert of the season at His Majesty's Theatre on Sunday evening at 8.30. under the conductorship of Mr. H. Moschini. The programme contains items calculated .to suit many tastes, from tho movement of the "Pastoral" Symphony of Beethoven to the dainty "Spring Song" of Mendelssohn. Other items will be the dashing "Raymond" Overture, a fantasia from "Faust," Sir A. Mackenzie's "Benedictus" and Sibeliiis's "Valsn Triste." A silver coin collection will be taken up at the doors.
The members of the "Dick .Whittington" Pantomime Company arrived from Sydney on Monday evening, and' left for Auckland by the midday express yesterday. The company includes Vera Pcarcc, Pauline Bindley, Maggie Dickinson, Arthur Stigant, Harry Koxbury," and William Fuilbrook.
