HORSE SALE
Tho Wairaraipa Farmers' Co-operative Association, Ltd. (stock department), report on a special horso sale held in the Colombo Road Yards on Saturday as under:—About 60 horses were varded, all being of a good useful type, and were submitted to a laTge attendance, the Wairarapa, East Coast, and Forty-Mile Bush districts being well represented. Practically a total clearance was made, and tho following prices recorded :-On account Mr. Donald M'Kenzie: 7-ye,ir draught gelding, all work, .£3O; expiess iiorses and hacks, unbroken, .£8 55., £8 las., oED 55., £10, to £10 10s.; account Mr. J. James: Express horses and hacks, onbroken, <27 10s., £8, £10, £11 55., to £15 305.; account Mr. W. E. Barber (Foston): 3-year ponies, nnbroken, £7 2s. 6(1., £1 1.55., £8, £8 10s., to £9; nnbroken cobs, £10 to £11 55.; account other vendors: draughts, all .work, £1G ; £18, £22 10s., £28, to £51; express horse's, £8 ss. to £10; hack and harness, £5, £0, £7, to £S ss.
