At the Mavnnui State School last evening Mr. E. Davroch delivered a lecture on the Navy and its work during the war. The headmaster, Mr. A. C. Blake, presided, and the school was well filled by pupils and parents. During an interval Mr. A. A. Gellatly proposed a voto of thanks to Mr. fiarroch for his interesting address, which was carried with cheers for the lecturer. At the close the children sang the National Anthem. A gas-cooking demonstration will he eivon at the Gas Company's demonstration room to-day. to commcnce at 3 o'clock.
