HEALTH AND HAPPINESS
TEACH THEM TO SWIM.
The programme for the elaborate picture entertainment to lie given in the Town Hall on Thursday and Friday appears elsewhere, awl a glance at it will show that the promises made by the organisers have not been exaggerated. The whole of the proceeds of this big entertainment are to he devoted to a fund for providing facilities for teaching the little ones of Wellington the healthy and useful art, of swimming. The work has been made easy for the swimming clubs in its initial stages by the generosity of the film companies, who have nil contributed of their best in the arranging of a long and elaborate programme. Apart from the immortal love drama. "Romeo and Juliet," the long list of star features includes a series uf exceptional comedies, in which Charlie Chaplin, Fatty Arbuckle, and other experts will figure hilariously. At a charge of one shilling for adults and sixpence for children, it is not expected that there will be any difficulty in filling the large Town Hall. There will lie no differentiation in the prices, and those who come first will be served first.
