LOYALTY AND THE SCHOOLS

Sir--While the citizens,of Wellington were'celebrating to-day the anniversary of His Majesty tho King'? Birthday, it may surprise many of your readers to know that one of the leading private schools for girls was at work as usual, much to the disgust, of both parents and children. While this school has done its share of war work, surely this treatment of its pupils is not conducive to the loyalty to our King which every public school is making its watchword in tho present time of trouble.—l am, ctC ' l A PARENT.
