GERMAN TRIBUTE TO OUR NAVAL MIGHT
"BRITAIN. HAS NEVER LOST A SINGLE WAR." (Rec. June 3, 7.25 p.m.;) Amsterdam, June 2. Captain Porsius, tho German naval writor, in an article published in the "Berliner Tagoblatt" on tho anniversary of tho Battlo of Jutland, states: "It will bo well to remember what a serious opponent Britain is. She has nevor lost a single war. She has triumphed at tho end of every campaign." Captain .Persius scornfully condemns such statements as: "England is aware- that her sea-power ia gono if she experiences another British of Jutland." He declares that such statements auger the German sailors, many of whom have learned to respect the British as strong and gallant opponents. Captain Persius points out that in spite of tho Battlo of Jutland the German merchant Hag is still banished from tho 6cas.—Aus.-N.Z. Cubic Assn.
