Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their weekly.stock sale at the Millers Hoad yards on May 31 . A fair yarding of sheep came forward, but only a very few cattle were offered. Buyers attended from all parts ot the district, and bidding, especially on hoggets, was brisk, one pen of exceptionally good hoggets realising 265. Id. Quotations: 2-tooth wethers, 28s. 10d.; empty forward ewes, 15s. 3d. to 20s. 3d.; B.F. hoggets, 15s. 9d.; woolly wether hoggets, 265. Id.; store cowb, £4 10s. to £7 10s.
