The meeting between Mr. Schwab and the President was of a most cordial character, and at the end of the interview the steel master seized tho President by both hands and assured him that ho would leave nothing undone to accelerate shipbuilding. Later Mr. Schwab met his associates and literally, swept them off. their feet with .his ardour and magnetism. All-Mr. Schwab said was: "Boys, will you stick by me and help?" He was answered with. a chorus of cheers as everyone answered, "You'bet we will, Charlie, to the end!'
