UC 132 One interesting inct deduced from the above figures is that marriages, in the Registrar's office appear to bo becoming inoro popular. During Hay Inst year the number of marriages so contracted .was 21, whilst during the month ended yesterday the Registrar was called upon to "tie the knot" no fewer tlinn 3G times, or an average of over one a day (counting every day of the month).
