RETURNED SOLDIERS AND SECOND DIVISION
At a meeting of the National Executive of the Second Division I.mrhp some recent resolutions of the Returned Soldiers Associations were diicussed, and the following resolution was carried i.nanimous]v—."That the National Executive "f the Second Divisi:n League views with rejjret the tone «!' re-oimtiuns passed by the Returned Soldiers' Associations with reference to the league, which tontl to break down what should bo friendly sentiments ol' i;>uj,.-ration between iho two organisations. The Second Division League Ims always been, and still is, desiious of co-operating with the. Ketunied Soldiers' Association lo secure proper conditions for all soldiers nrnl their dependants, both during and alter service, and, as in the natural course o events the married soldiers should eventually jnir.' Ihe Retwned Soldiers Association, would slrongly urge that body to resist any inliuences which may have iv tendency the married and the single men."
