Stewart, was held in the Navy League rooms yesterday to arrange a scheme for the collection of bottles—nil kinds of bottles, including thosn for medicine and scent—and also Nugget tins, with a view of raising funds for the benefit of the N'avy Lcnguo patriotic funds. All bottles offered may be left at the gymnasium n f the Sydney Street Schoolroom (Soldiers' Club), for ono month, co''imenc:n:f to-morrow. , The committee know how to mnlre money out of bottles which most people look upon as valueless. The 1 committee will apnea! for aid to the Women's National Reserve and the mothers of soldiers. A similar appeal in Christchurch resulted in a profit of -CICOfI.
