RED JERSEY APPEAL
BIG PROCESSION ON MONDAY. The Red Jersey appeal closes on ironday next, and arrangements are well in hand for an impressive wind-up. The programme includes a monster procession, to be followed by a. gala day at Non-town Park. The Dominion 'Boy Scouts and nine bands will take part in tho procession, and there will bo a military display at the park by men from tho camps. Special trophies aro to be given for the best decorated motorcans, motor lorries, etc., and a special prize is being presented for the best decorated car containing one of the baby competitors in the recent successful content. The co-operation of the various baby committees is earnestly sought by tlio promoters. Prizes arc to be-given also for the most original costume in the procession, and the besc tableau; Tho prospects for an interesting display aro good, and the day, June 3, being a holiday, there should be a big gathering at the park to mark the close of a deserving appeal.
