THE "BONNET ROUGE" SCANDALS
GENERAL SAEEIIL'S PLANS. Paris, May 28. Captain Mathieu, formerly General Sarrail's orderly -fiicer at Salonika,, and Sergeant Paix-Seailles, on a charge of divulging conliilential documents, have been sentenced to three months' and a year's imprisonment' respectively. The. prosecution stated that the documents, which wero handed to the "Bonnet. Rouge," contained Geneiyil Sarrail's plaps, information, regarding the situation of the French Army, and the number of its effectives. M. liriand and several ex-Ministers gave evidence.—Aus.-N.Z.
