The committee of the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge invites the attention of the clergy and Sunday School teachers and the public to a tshop just opened, at the Diocesan Library in llulRi'avo Street (see advertisement in this issue), where the publications of the society are stocked, as well as other theological and religious books and story books suitablo for Sunday School prizes and for libraries. It is expected that the Feathcrston drainage contract, which at the outset was handicapped as to progress owing to :i shortage of labour, will be completed within a month or two. During the past few months labour has been plentiful and the work has proceeded expeditiously. The work was commenced nearly two.years ago.
