THE FRANCO-GERMAN EXCHANGE CONVENTION. I ' (Rec. May 27, 8.15 p.m.) London, May 27. The Geneva Red Cross Society lias published , the principles governing tho Franco-German Exchange of Prisoners Convention. In addition to the exchange as already disclosed, the convention abolishes tho category of civilian prisoners. Civilians henceforth will have tho choico 'of returning homo or residing at a fixed address. Deportations will bo Abolished. The inhabitants of occupied territory may bo forced to work, but only ncai homo.—Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn.
