FOOD RIOTS IN PROVINCIAL TOWNS STRIKERS PASS ANTI-SOVIET RESOLUTION. Moscow, May 26. Food riots have occurred in several provincial towns. There was serious rioting at Nijni-N'ovgorod, where 10,000 employees of tho Sormovo Works declared a one-day strike and passed a. resolution in favour of a Constituent Assembly and against the Soviet. The German authorities in some of the occupied Russian territories havo arrested a .dumber.of Austrian and German prisoners of war who had joined extremist political organisations.
