PARNELI'S SISTER DEATH UNDER TRAGIC CIRCUMSTANCES. London, May 26. Mrs. Riclcctts, sister of tlio late Mr. Charles Stewart Parnell, lender of tho Irish Nationalist Party, died under tragic circumstances in tho South Dublin Workhouse. Mrs. Ricketts, who was 80 years of age, was admitted a week ago, but her identity was unknown till her name was discovered among her bolmiginga. A surviving brother 6tatcs that ho is unable'to explain his sister's action. She had-ample means to live comfort-, ably. She must have been deranged. ■ Tho "Daily Chroniclo" states that Mrs. Rickotts's husband is Captain Cuthbcrt Ricketts, now in Australia.—Aus.-N./S. Cable Assn.
