THE WEATHER
FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for moderate to strong southerly winds generally, backing to easterly northwards of Kawljia and East Ca/po. Cloudy and unsettled weather with rain, may 'be expected in the i northernmost districts, and cold and changeable conditions, with scattered showers elsewhere. Tho barometer has a. rising tendency, but is unsteady in tho far north. Atmospheric pressure has increased, and strong but decreasing west and north-west winds have prevailed. The weather has improved since Saturday, but is still unsettled in the West Coast and southernmost districts, and conditions are somewhat threatening northwards of tha Dominion. D, 0.
