To ali these hospitals it presents its copies in any numbers which i may he required for personal distribution among the sick and wounded men. A j stream of fresh supplies fa these hospitals is (lowing from the Bible House every , day, and since the commencement of the. war down to 31st March, 3017, the total j exceeded 600,000 copies of the Scriptures in English." ! In addition to this abnormal demand arising out of tho war (lie applications \ for copies of the Scriptures in the various languages continue unabated. Owing I to extra cost of production, etc., the Society requires X 30,000 additional, for 1918. | The Bible has been well described as "Tho Source of England's Greatness," \ and to all who realise the privilege and responsibility which that phrase implies i we confidently appeal. ■ ' !
