Sir,—ln view of the constantly increasing demands, the Second Division League are making, your'readers inay b(i interested in an extract from a letter recently received from the' front—a letter written before the league formulated its latest list of demands. The writer of the letter is a Second Division man, who, though by no means well off, entered camp in February, 1916. His wife wus quite prepared to cam enough to keep, herself. At" that time the only allowance made, to soldiers was 7s. per week to their wives. Enclosed please'find the extract referred to, also my name and address.—l am, etc., 'A SOLDIER'S WIFE. .
