A; llanan (Minister of Education) was waited on this morning by a deputation from the Free Kindergarten Association pressing tho urgent claims of the association for financial assistance. The Minister, in a sympathetic reply, said ho indicated • that he was bringing before Cabinet a scheme involving tho assumption of kindergarten work by tho State, or in tho alternative a scheme to give moio State support to public kindergartens.
