The annual general meeting of the Wellington Acclimatisation Society will be held in the Chamber of Commerce, Customhouse Quay, at 8 p.m., on Wednesday, May 29, when nil holders of licenses during the past or current year, as well as members, are cordially invited to attend. The annual report shows that, in the face of abnormal conditions, the past year has exceeded expectations.
