~ i The downpour of rain on Tuesday did not deter II rs. Walter Catc's party from giving of their best efforts in music, story, and song to the audience a I Hie Sailors' Friend Society. Mrs. Gate was very ably assisted by Miss Hendersi&'S orchestra. The following contributed : >r - Mesdames Cate and Morgan, the Misses I. Trim, Peggy Jones, M. Gawler, Miller, Gilfillan, Bethnne, and Henderson, and Messrs. T. ,E. Jones, W. Cate, Kroning, Brown, Chappie, Eraser, Marshall. Mr. Moore, missinner, took for tlie temperance chat, "The Latest re Drink." Pledges followed. Mr. Moore would be glad to hear from a club that would meet an overseas' club at football on Saturday.
