Tho entry included a few pons of extra prime. Bullocks, £20 to .£24; extra, .£2B; medium, £IQ to m 10s.; lighter, .£l3 to ,£l4 10s.; .prime heifers, .£ls; medium to ■ good, .£l2 10s.; others, £9 10s. to 10s. Sheep: 2409 penned. The qualitywas better than last week, although a largo proportion were only medium. There was a good demand for prima at late rates and at times beyond. Extra prime heavy wethers for show purposes, 60s. to 80s.; prime heavy 50s. to 535.; prime, 425. 6d. to 493. ;• medium to good, 86s. to 405.; light and unfinished, 80s. to 855.; extra primo heavy ewes, 445. 9d. to 5Gs.; .prime, 38s. 6d} to 435.; medium to good, 325. to 375.; light and aged, 245. t0..283. . Lambs: 1541 penned. The quality was fair, and competition keen at late rates. Prime, 295. to 325.; extra, 355. 6d.; medium to good, 245. to 285.; unfinished, 19s. to 235. ' There was a large yarding of pigs. Good quality met with good competition, but prices were slightly easier than last ireek.
