It is 6tated that the dissatisfaction which has existed for somo years past in the Anglican parish of St. Miehhel's, Christchuvch, in regard to matters of ritual has oulminated in the present vicar, Canon C. E. Perry, being, chin-Red with breaches of ecclesiastical laws. The charges liavo been filed with the Registrar of the Christchurch Diocese by Archdeacon C. H. Gosset, who has resigned his archdeaconry in order to make the accusations.
