Negotiations are proceeding for tao salo of next year's cxnortaDio surplus butter to the Imperial Government at 1516. per cwt. f.o.b. Tho new prices order advances tho wholesale and retail price of butter by one-halfpenny per pound, making the retail price Is. 6W.
