The mine manager reports, under date May IV "Dunns the week the following work has been in progress: North of main crosscut tho rise is up to 20ft. The rofif is wider than the x'me and ia well mineralised. Tho main drive was advanced lift. An upriso was started iM> the end of tho drive. The reef is very flat and wo are up sft., with no hanging wall showing. In the south end the hanging-wall reef is very small. The main reef is JJft. wido and fairly well mineralised."
